Haikou, December 1--- Song Zhe,Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH HAINAN, met with a Spanish government delegation from Gran Canaria led by Valentín González, External Representative of Gran Canaria. The two sides focused on areas such as Spanish agricultural products, distinctive local Chinese products, agricultural equipment, new energy vehicles, and financial and tax policies. Carlos Velez, Chairman of the China-Spain Trade Association, attended the meeting.

Song Zhe stated that Spain is one of SINOMACH HAINAN's key overseas markets, and over the years, a solid cooperative foundation has been established with Spanish partners in areas including agricultural products. He expressed the expectation to advance practical cooperation with the government of Gran Canaria and the China-Spain Trade Association, focusing on three key directions: duty-free consumption, value-added processing, and brand collaboration for high-end Spanish agricultural products. This aims to help establish the Hainan Free Trade Port as a benchmark for China-Spain agricultural industry cooperation.

Valentín González noted that Gran Canaria is located in the center of the Atlantic Ocean, adjacent to Africa, serving as a strategic hub connecting Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.He expressed the hope to fully utilize the unique advantages of SINOMACH HAINAN in international operations to introduce Gran Canaria's distinctive agricultural products to China. Simultaneously, he aims to bring China's high-quality new energy vehicles to Gran Canaria, achieving complementary strengths and mutual benefits for both sides.

Carlos Velez introduced the basic information of the China-Spain Trade Association. He mentioned that the association possesses cooperative resources from 17 autonomous regional governments across Spain and a membership network of over 200 leading Spanish enterprises. He looks forward to closer cooperation with SINOMACH HAINAN in areas such as duty-free consumption, value-added processing, and brand collaboration for high-end Spanish agricultural products, to deeply explore the potential of the Chinese market and share in the development opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
