On August 3, 2015, Ms. Yang Jing, Vice president of CCEC, has attended the Fifth Meeting of the Agriculture Subcommittee of China-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation (ICC) in Beijing, which was co-chaired by MOA Vice-Minister Qu Dongyu and Mr. Krasnopolskiy Yaroslav, Ukrainian First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food. This meeting reviewed the implementation of the agreements signed since the fourth meeting, and discussed measures to strengthen agricultural trade and investment in future, improve the outcomes of the 3 billion USD cooperation program as agreed in the China-Ukraine Framework Agreement on Agricultural Cooperation, and enhance the exchanges and pragmatic cooperation in SPS measures, veterinary service, fisheries, agricultural technology, among others


This meeting summarized the progress made since the launch of the 3 billion USD program, and spoke highly of the rapid development of agricultural trade and steady growth of investment. The two sides will continue to prize the Agriculture Subcommittee mechanism and give full play to its guiding role, solving problems through constructive negotiations and consultation, to make positive contribution to the comprehensive development of China-Ukraine relations.
