SINOMACH Hainan Held Talks with FAO Delegation and CATAS
HAIKOU,March 27--Shi Lei, General Manager of SINOMACH Hainan, visited the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS) for a discussion with the delegation of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) project “Enhancing science, technology and innovation capacities for accelerating agrifood systems transformation in Small Island Developing States (SIDS)”, as well as representatives from CATAS.
During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including the new trends in global agricultural development, tropical agricultural technologies, South-South cooperation, and digital agriculture. Attendees included Yao Xiangjun, Director of the FAO Office for Small Island Developing States, Least Developed Countries and Landlocked Developing Countries; Ye Anping, Director of the FAO Office for South-South and Triangular Cooperation; Jiang Changshun, a member of the CATAS Party Leadership Group; and Song Zhe, Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH Hainan.
